Cyclists who visit the Cherry Creek area from April 2 through June 24 are invited to register for the 2008 Commuter Challenge. During this three-month contest, The Cherry Creek Bike Rack will track the number of times riders cycle in to Cherry Creek. Throughout the Challenge, cyclists will have the chance to win weekly and monthly prizes, including gift cards from local vendors, and cycling prizes from Campus Cycles. Additionally, each ride in will earn cyclists an entry into our Grand Prize drawing.
Join Transportation Solutions and The Cherry Creek Bike Rack on Wednesday morning, June 25 from 6:30 until 10:00 AM for our annual Bike to Work Day Breakfast Station Block Party. We'll be closing Detroit Street between 1st and 2nd Avenues to celebrate cycling in Denver. Stop by to enjoy free breakfast, coffee, cycling prizes and much more!

Spread the joy of getting a bicycle for the holidays! The Cherry Creek Bike Rack is collecting used kids' bikes (during the month of November only, please) to recondition and distribute to children in need in the Denver area.
Bikes are being accepted at The Cherry Creek Bike Rack (171 Detroit Street in Cherry Creek North) and at Campus Cycles (2102 S Washington Street, just west of DU). For more information, please call 303.377.7086. Due to a lack of storage space, bikes will only be accepted during the month of November.

During this three-month contest, The Cherry Creek Bike Rack tracked the number of times riders cycled in to Cherry Creek. Throughout the Challenge, cyclists were rewarded with weekly and monthly prizes, including gift cards from Macaroni Grill, Enstrom’s Candies and Chipotle; fresh bread from Great Harvest; and a messenger bag and Camelbak donated by Campus Cycles. Additionally, each ride in earned cyclists an entry into our Grand Prize drawing--2 roundtrip airline tickets from Frontier Airlines.
On June 27, nearly 23,000 cyclists hit the streets on two wheels in the Denver Metro Area. Nearly 300 of these cyclists rode out to join Transportation Solutions and The Cherry Creek Bike Rack at our annual Bike to Work Day Breakfast Station Block Party.
To properly celebrate pedal power, we blocked off the street and cyclists were treated to great food from Panera Bread, Lara Bar, and local favorite Whole Foods Market; coffee from Starbucks; music from JACK-FM; and prizes from Peet's Coffee, the Wizard's Chest, Christy's Sports, Enstrom's Candies and more.

On June 28 over 250 cyclists riding a total of more than 2800 miles joined us at The Cherry Creek Bike Rack (171 Detroit Street) for our 2006 Bike to Work Day Breakfast Station Block Party! Check out pictures from this year's festivities here.



In 2005, 30 shops signed up to participate in the 2005 Best Helmet Fest, a public-spirited, helmet-decorating competition among stores in the Cherry Creek area to benefit the Share A Cycle project, which refurbishes used bicycles for children in need.
