Transportation Solutions is excited to be working with three local elementary schools, Bromwell Elementary, Cory Elementary and Steck Elementary, on a Safe Routes to School project.

Schools have gathered initial data on students' current walking and biking habits, as well as taken an inventory of existing infrastructure around schools to facilitate or discourage safe walking and biking.

We are currently compiling all of that data and translating the Walking Audits to Walking Maps for school families.  Once the maps are completed, we will host safety courses with the Denver Police Department at each school to teach students safe walking and biking habits and then implement Walking Wednesdays.
