Since its formation in April of 1997, with an annual operating budget of $120,000, Transportation Solutions has secured significant funding for transportation improvements within the focus area. Specifically, these improvements include:

• bus stop enhancements
• bus shelter installation
• sidewalk improvements
• curb ramps
• shuttle services

Additionally, Transportation Solutions helps businesses improve their bottom line by enhancing access for employees, tenants, and customers. Assistance from Transportation Solutions ranges from providing information to residents and commuters in the service area to regional advocacy for enhanced transportation services and amenities in the southeast Denver area.

Helping to improve bicycle amenities in the area, Transportation Solutions established The Cherry Creek Bike Rack in 2004, Colorado's first free indoor bicycle parking facility.

Looking towards the future, Transportation Solutions will continue making our community more livable by reducing traffic congestion, improving multi-modal accessibility and increasing pedestrian and bicycle connectivity for residents, employees and consumers in near southeast Denver and Glendale.
