RideSmartThursdays
Denver regional campaign to encourage the use of an alternative mode of transportation at least one day a week from August through October. Campaign is managed by RTD and DRCOG.

Bike to Work Day
Annual event held on the 4th Wednesday of June in Colorado. Part of the National Bike to Work Day celebration.

Transportation Expansion Project (T-REX)
A $1.67 billion venture between the Colorado Department of Transportation and the Regional Transportation District that transformed the way people in the metro Denver area travel along the southeast corridor of Interstates 25 and 225. The T-REX project added 19 miles of light rail and improved 17 miles of highway through southeast Denver, Aurora, Greenwood Village, Centennial and Lone Tree. T-REX construction began in fall 2001 and ended in fall 2006.
