Denver Living Streets Initiative
A collaborative, interdisciplinary approach that involves all stakeholders to develop a transportation facility that fits its physical setting and preserves scenic, aesthetic, historic and environmental resources, while maintaining safety and mobility. This approach follows the principles of   "complete streets" and "context sensitive solutions (CSS)"  to plan transportation corridors in a manner that balances the roadway for multiple users (bikes, pedestrians, transit and cars) and considers the total context within which a transportation improvement project will exist. 

RideSmartThursdays
Denver regional campaign to encourage the use of an alternative mode of transportation at least one day a week from August through October. Campaign is managed by RTD and DRCOG.

Bike to Work Day
Annual event held on the 4th Wednesday of June in Colorado. Part of the National Bike to Work Day celebration.

FasTracks
RTD's twelve-year comprehensive plan to build and operate high speed rail lines and expand and improve bus service and park-n-Rides throughout the Denver region.
